TEACHING

Caitlin's way of teaching helped me redefine what confidence looked like as a performer.  She helped me correct and improve my technique, and it has made a world of difference. I feel much stronger and far more capable than I had in previous learning environments.

-Annamaria, voice student, 2020

Caitlin has made singing very accessible, yet still challenging—both of which have given me confidence and a skill-set that I can use anytime, whether I’m singing in a choir or singing a solo piece.  She has helped to give me a wonderful foundation of specific techniques and practices that I have been able to build on and still use today as I continue singing.

-Hallie-Blair, voice student, 2020

Throughout my time studying with Caitlin, my technique greatly improved in every aspect of singing. She taught me how to protect and support my voice and introduced me to Italian arias. Her vast knowledge of the vocal instrument is evident, and her wonderful personality makes lessons a delight!

-Lyndsey, voice student, 2018

Singers and aspiring singers, Caitlin Moore is a superb teacher. She knows the voice, proper voice repertoire for singers at various levels of study, and you will be captivated by her engaging personality. Take advantage of this opportunity to study with Caitlin!

-Tony Deaton, Voice Professor Emeritus, Lee University

Philosophy

My number one priority is to promote and strengthen each singer's unique voice with a basis of vocal health and efficiency. With a holistic approach, I address the entire body (breath, balance, vocal anatomy and physiology), mind (music history, theory, languages), and spirit (authenticity and mental health related to performance). Since each singer is different, I work to engage singers in their specific interests and musical goals. Private clients can expect to learn:

  • artistry and authenticity

  • healthy and effective vocal production

  • new repertoire

  • varying vocal styles based on goals and interests

  • basic music theory

  • foreign language pronunciation (if desired)

  • stage presence
